LogiLink

The LogiLink brand has become known primarily as a supplier of computer accessories – however, it offers not only small devices but an entire portfolio of professional IT accessories: from popular RJ45 connectors to advanced fiber optic patch cords...

Below we present an overview of the LogiLink offer in the TME catalog. This includes both small accessories intended for the consumer market and solutions designed for professional and even industrial applications (e.g., high-class network cabling). Besides high quality, these products are characterized by relatively low prices.

The full supplier’s portfolio includes over 2000 products, so this overview presents the general framework and specification of the offer. Customers interested in specific items are invited to visit our catalog, where the articles have been detailed and parameterized.

Ethernet Patch Cords

One of the largest product groups of LogiLink is ethernet patch cords, i.e., ready-to-use cables with factory-installed connectors. They are available in standard, consumer versions (category 5e, 6), higher quality (category 6a), and the highest specification (8.1), intended for use in server rooms and other connections requiring the fastest possible wired transmission. Patch cords come in lengths from 0.15m to 90m. Most of these products use LSZH insulation, i.e., Low Smoke Zero Halogen. Thanks to features such as double shielding, twisted pairs, and additional metallic foil shielding, LogiLink cables offer very high transmission parameters and resistance to external interference and crosstalk.

A special and notable group of patch cords are the slim models. These are network cables with an exceptionally small diameter of only 2.8mm. Moreover, they use stranded conductors, resulting in the entire cable being exceptionally flexible. Despite this characteristic, the manufacturer managed to maintain the specification in category 6a, meaning the ability to handle transmission at gigabit speeds.

RJ45 Connectors

Besides the patch cords themselves and the cables described later, LogiLink also supplies telecommunications connectors. Several important groups must be distinguished in this assortment. The first are plugs installed on cables, available in crimp and IDC versions, as well as shielded, angled, and other special types. Similar variety is found among RJ45 sockets, but here, besides versions mounted on cables, LogiLink also offers wall sockets for installation in office and residential buildings, and patch panels used in server rooms and for building network infrastructure.

Telecommunications and Audio-Video Cables

The cables supplied by LogiLink (in rolls from 10m to 500m) allow individual creation of telephone (for analog or digital connections) and ethernet cabling. In the first case, cables are available in 4-, 6-, and 8-conductor versions, while the latter meet standards for categories 6, 7, and 7a. Many versions have classification according to the CPR construction standard (B2ca, Dca, Eca, Fca), permitting installation in office, residential buildings, and public-use architecture. They can also be used in automation infrastructure, for creating industrial Ethernet or PROFINET networks.

LogiLink’s cable offering also includes products for RTV installations, e.g., speaker cables. These are two-conductor cables with transparent PVC insulation, up to 100m in length. The cross-sectional area of a single conductor (traditionally stranded) can be 0.75mm2, 1.5mm2, or 2.5mm2. They are high-quality CCA cables (Copper Clad Aluminum), made using aluminum coated with a thin copper layer, achieving optimal connection parameters at a relatively low price.

Fiber Optic Patch Cords

Modern network infrastructure is most often based on fiber optics, increasingly used for local connections (especially in industrial or office environments). Our customers will find an assortment of multimode fibers in categories from OM2 to OM5, as well as the OS2 variant used in outdoor lines (e.g., between buildings). Cables come in various colors and with different connectors (LC, APC, UPC, MPO, also as adapters/converters). Cables are available in lengths up to 250m. In total, LogiLink offers over 200 models of fiber optic patch cords.

USB Cables

In the consumer market, LogiLink is primarily known as a supplier of computer accessories, small peripherals, and USB adapters. This assortment is still part of the manufacturer’s portfolio as well as the TME catalog. It includes USB connection cables with connectors in formats A, B, and C – supporting standards 3.2 and even 4.0 (data transfer up to 40Gb/s), as well as Power Delivery 3.0 technology (charging currents up to 5A and power delivery up to 100W). The cable offer is complemented by a considerable selection of adapters, i.e., converters between the USB standard and other digital interfaces, e.g., DisplayPort, HDMI.

Other USB Adapters and Accessories

Of course, the USB and computer accessories offer does not end with cables alone. Several other product groups should be highlighted here. LogiLink took care to offer devices that extend computer capabilities (or tablets and phones). Here we find sound cards with additional outputs and inputs, adapters for capturing analog video signals, and a wide selection of USB hubs (also in versions with additional power supply, allowing connection of peripherals drawing relatively high current to the portable device or single-board computer). This offer also includes SATA adapters compatible with hard drives and optical drives. Worth noting is the choice of network solutions, such as WiFi and Ethernet cards, as well as power supplies working with PoE technology (Power over Ethernet).

Power Cables

Another frequently sought group of accessories is power cables. LogiLink’s offer here includes cables with high-current connectors, used in various types of devices and machines (C13, C19); more compact plugs (“figure-eight” C7, “cloverleaf” C5). At the opposite cable end, there may be a power plug in European, Swiss, British, or American standard – depending on the model. The assortment also includes extension cords. Cables are made to conduct currents up to 16A (at standard mains voltages). They come in lengths up to 10m and are available in white and black.

Mounts for Monitors, Televisions, etc.

Finally, let’s look at a somewhat different product group, namely mounts used for installing monitors, televisions, computers (laptops and desktops), projectors. LogiLink offers a particularly wide selection of products here. Many allow adjusting the tilt and swivel angle (and even rotation). TV mounts can hold devices weighing up to 75kg. Attention is also paid to compatibility with various mounting hole spacings (in accordance with the VESA standard). For desktop computer mounts, an aesthetic bracket is mounted under the desk surface or on the desk’s side panel. The jaw opening holding the case can be adjusted, so the product remains compatible with virtually any computer.
