Every audiophile has their own preferences for headphones. Some like closed-back headphones for good isolation from the outside world noise, while others find open-back headphones much more agreeable. The new Sentio headphones make the choice easy, since you can switch between open and closed back whenever you wish.   Sentio has launched a Kickstarter campaign to collect enough money to finance production, and more than half the target amount has been pledged already. The switchable headphones have two drivers for each ear (50 mm and 30 mm) to provide solid bass reproduction and good detailing in the treble range. The headphones are made from stainless steel and aluminum and are available with various colors and options. For example, Sentio can also supply a gaming microphone, a PC gaming adapter or a Bluetooth module for wireless listening as extra-cost options. The price of the basic model is £95 for early backers, rising to £249 after the end of the campaign.
