At the 273 m² booth at electronica 2022 in Munich, Elektor will provide a platform for three selected companies to showcase their cutting-edge technologies and visions to the global electronics community. 

The Best in Electronics Start-Ups

With a proven track record of connecting start-ups with potential customers, investors, and partners, Elektor has highlighted 100 different technologies and services from 37 countries, including Germany, France, the US, and Israel. Collaborating with forward-thinking sponsors such as Arrow, Distrelec, Kurtz Ersa, Almit, Weller, Bernstein, and NCAB Group, Elektor has made each fast forward initiative a success.

In 2022, Elektor continues the tradition of highlighting the best electronics start-ups. Over the next few months, engineers and editors will select the three most promising start-ups to showcase their potential live at electronica 2022.

The selected start-ups will have a large portion of the 273 m² booth (B4.440) to present their technology/services, and will also have the opportunity to participate in a forum with exceptional speakers. Each start-up will also benefit from a share of the €150,000 marketing budget.

Invite-Only Opportunity

electronica fast forward 2022 is an exclusive competition, but the public is encouraged to join the show and visit the electronica fast forward booth. A unique electronics-related university team will also be invited to the trade floor, so be sure to stay updated through the electronica newsletter and visit the electronica fast forward booth (B4.440) at electronica 2022 (November 15-18, 2022), the world’s leading electronics trade fair.

After studying the provided documents and watching the videos, and merging in the public votes, the jury – headed by Professor Rik De Doncker from RWTH Aachen University (see below) – selected three winners:
 
  • First Prize - €75,000 Elektor marketing budget & a starter booth at electronica 2022
  • Second Prize - €50,000 Elektor marketing budget
 
  • Third Prize - €25,000 Elektor marketing budget

The winning three start-ups were chosen by the jury because of their high commercial potential and the quality of the team, two important criteria for a start-up to grow into a successful business.
