Wide selection of fuses, connectors, antennas, and other components

MTA is a supplier specializing in components and accessories for installation in vehicles – passenger cars, trucks, and others. The manufacturer’s broad portfolio includes both the simplest parts, such as fuses, as well as specialized antennas for data transmission and speakers from the car audio segment.

MTA automotive electrical components

Below, we present a cross-section of the MTA brand’s assortment. It is a diverse portfolio, but one focused on electrical/signal installations for road vehicles – both private and fleet-operated. It is worth noting that many of these products (e.g. connectors or antennas) come in a range of specific variants, making it possible to choose the required replacement or a solution with a fairly precise specification. Many of these items are supplied directly from our warehouses, which means we can dispatch the required part almost immediately to ensure the fastest possible delivery.

Automotive fuses and accessories

The first and rather obvious product group is automotive fuses. They are used not only in the automotive sector, but also in many industrial devices, due to their compact size and widespread availability. However, MTA offers not only a wide selection of protective elements themselves, but also many practical accessories for them.

MTA fuses and fuse kits
In the TME catalogue, we can find two popular types of MTA fuses: MINI and MAXI blade fuses (classic, compact, protecting e.g. lighting, drives of components such as power windows or wipers) and bolt-down fuses, used in high-current circuits (ignition, starting, power steering, alternator). MTA supplies versions with rated currents from 1A to 500A.

In the field of complementary products, MTA supplies many noteworthy solutions. These primarily include various types of housings. The first type is single holders, e.g. wire-mounted, ideally suited for protecting circuits added to a vehicle installation during modifications (e.g. when installing an additional audio amplifier or an onboard computer). In more complex cases, a more practical solution is to use fuse boxes capable of accommodating up to 16 blade fuses. Such boxes feature mounting holes and transparent covers to facilitate inspection and possible identification of blown elements. If installation is to be carried out outside the cabin (e.g. in the engine compartment), special sealed enclosures will provide even better conditions.

In addition, MTA also supplies single high-current holders with covers, covers only, standard electrical connectors, seals (housing accessories), so-called battery terminals and many other related accessories.

Car Antennas

It is hard to imagine a vehicle without any form of wireless communication – whether it is receiving radio stations, communication via the cellular network, or an Internet connection. In many cases, particularly in public transport, onboard WiFi networks are also provided. There is also often a need to improve the reception of signals from global geolocation systems (GNSS). MTA offers antennas for all of these applications. The first group includes standard radio antennas adapted to the bands used in analogue transmission (AM and FM) and the increasingly popular digital standard (DAB). Most of the supplier’s products support at least two bands. Listed below are several forms these antennas may take: roof-mounted (traditional and “shark fin” type), telescopic (including electrically extendable), and flat (adhesive-mounted inside the cabin, wheel arch, etc.).

Car Antennas

Achieving optimal cellular network connectivity is not only a matter of driver convenience, but also a prerequisite for the proper operation of many systems, e.g. centralized fleet management, which makes it possible to monitor each vehicle. Therefore, many MTA antennas are designed for data transmission using LTE and 5G technologies, or for improving the reception of satellite signals (GPS). In this field as well, MTA solutions are multiband and adapted for roof mounting to minimize signal attenuation by the vehicle body.

TME-4

In this field, it is also worth mentioning articles adapted to operate in the UHF and VHF spectrum, which may be used for communication or reception only on open frequencies. The range also includes antennas for WiFi and Bluetooth modules, which are often used in minibuses, camper vans, and wherever improved network connectivity is required. The supplier’s connection cables complement the portfolio, factory-fitted with connectors in the most popular formats, such as DIN, Fakra, SMA, SMB, FME.

Car Audio

MTA offers a somewhat narrower, but still comprehensive, assortment in the field of car audio products. Here, three product groups should be highlighted. The first is speakers – a component often replaced due to wear of factory HiFi components, or as part of an upgrade. MTA supplies speakers with diameters from 87mm to 165mm, operating in standard frequency ranges, from 60Hz to 20kHz (all feature a two-way design), with power ratings up to 100W. The sets include a pair of units, all characterized by the typical 4Ω impedance. In addition, the TME catalogue offers universal speaker grilles (square and round).

Car Audio
An important part of the MTA range is formed by various signal connectors used in car audio installations, e.g. DIN plugs, antenna sockets installed on cables, or adapters between FME and SMA standards.

Automotive Connectors and Complementary Products

When discussing connectors, one cannot overlook the wide selection of other formats. These smallest components are practically indispensable during repairs and installations. MTA’s assortment includes a selection of such accessories, e.g. replacement contacts for standard automotive connectors, often requiring replacement due to corrosion or damage caused by high temperatures.

The manufacturer has also ensured the availability of basic components such as terminals (including insulated ones) and cable ties used for bundling and fastening wires. Also noteworthy are insulating covers, which provide not only electrical but also physical protection, minimizing the impact of environmental factors on the quality of connections (e.g. battery terminals).
