At Elektor, we love to build, learn, and having fun. And that's why the kits from the Croatian developer CircuitMess fit well in the Elektor Store. One example is Ringo, an educational DIY cell phone that allows you to make "real" phone calls. Check it out.

Ringo: Learn By Doing

As you build Ringo, you will learn how a cell phone is put together and how it works. Ringo is based on the popular ESP32, which cooperates with a SIM800 network processor. Elektor author Tam Hanna has assembled and tested the maker phone, so you can easily follow along.

Elektor also produced a video about the product of the week. It goes live on the Elektor YouTube channel on Friday, July 16.
