Are you ready to put your engineering skills to the test? Innovate a creative STM32-based wireless application for a chance to win! The STM32 Wireless Innovation Design Contest is calling all engineers, makers, and students to showcase their design abilities by crafting groundbreaking wireless applications using cutting-edge STM32-based solutions from STMicroelectronics. This is your chance to dive deeper into the world of wireless technology and turn your imaginative ideas into reality. Start designing today.

The STM32 Wireless Innovation Design Contest is an opportunity to win a share of €5,000 in prize money and international recognition. STMicroelectronics will feature winning projects at Embedded World 2024 trade fair in April 2024. Plus, innovative STM32-based projects — including noteworthy designs that are not selected in the top three — will appear in pages of Elektor Mag and on the Elektor Mag website. The contest is an excellent opportunity to add a prestigious accolade to your resume and to impress your peers throughout the global electronics community. The project submission deadline is March 1, 2024.

STM32 Boards and Endless Possibilities

Whether you're captivated by the possibilities of the IoT, fascinated by the potential of robotics, intrigued by home automation, devoted to test and measurement, or passionate about AI, the STM32 Wireless Innovation Design Contest welcomes your brilliance. Participation is simple:

  • Choose a featured STMicroelectronics STM32 board: NUCLEO-WBA52CG, STM32WB5MM-DK, or NUCLEO-WL55JCNOTE: You can apply for a free board (while supplies last) on the Contest Page or use one of your own approved ST solutions.
  • Implement the STM32 solution in an innovative design project. Carefully document (description, images, schematics, code, etc.) your project.
  • Submit your complete project before the February 19, 2024, deadline. Visit the Contest Page for instructions.

The contest features three development and evaluation boards that will serve as your canvas for wireless innovation. The design possibilities are endless.

  • NUCLEO-WBA52CG: NUCLEO-WBA52CG is a Bluetooth® Low Energy wireless and ultra-low-power board embedding a powerful and ultra-low-power radio compliant with the Bluetooth® Low Energy SIG specification v5.3. The ARDUINO® Uno V3 connectivity support and the ST morpho headers allow the easy expansion of the functionality of the STM32 Nucleo open development platform with a wide choice of specialized shields.
