Mouser Electronics, Inc. announced today a global distribution agreement with Enterpoint Ltd., designers and manufacturers of high-performance, FPGA-based computing products.

The Enterpoint product line, now available from Mouser Electronics, offers several FPGA-based development boards. The Larg 2 incorporates a powerful dual-core ARM® Cortex®-A9 processor, a user-programmable FPGA fabric, and Linux operating systems to create a cost-effective, highly accurate, low-power computing platform. Larg 2 is ideal for control applications either in standalone operation or connected to a hosting device, such as USB COM or Ethernet interfaces. The Larg 2 kit includes the Larg 2 development board and the Larg Breakout Board, which enables developers to use FPGA Mezzanine Cards with the Larg 2. The Larg Breakout Board features a dual USB connector, Ethernet connector, 3.5mm headphone and microphone jacks and DIL headers for add-on modules.

The low-cost Polmaddie 6 board offers an economical way to begin programing with FPGAs. The board features Altera’s highly flexible MAX10 FPGA, which facilitates development of simple microprocessor systems. The board’s three 40-pin headers offer a total of 60 inputs and outputs (I/Os) routed to the MAX10. The Drigmorn 5 board with a 16×2 LCD display targets local control applications as either a standalone solution or connected to a hosting device via its FT4232 USB interface. The board features a powerful dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor, a user-programmable FPGA fabric, and support for either a Linux or Android operating system, making it a cost-effective, high-performance, low-power computing platform. The Drigmorn 5 also includes a temperature sensor and accelerometer, 17 LEDs, 10/100/1000 Ethernet connectivity, and an IDC header with 20 general-purpose inputs and outputs (GPIO).

Like the Drigmorn5, the Raggedstone 4 features a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor and a user-programmable FPGA fabric, paired with support for a Linux operating system. The Raggedstone 4 enables designers to create applications that provide hardware acceleration functions, custom I/O or interface requirements, high-accuracy interface timing functions, a high-bandwidth input to a PC, or any combination of these features. The board can operate inside a host PC plugged into a PCI Express slot or as a standalone board powered through the 2.1mm jack or disk drive connector with a single 12V input.
