Designed to increase the braking torque capability of a variable frequency drive

This results in faster and more controlled braking for the drive and increases the braking torque of the drive system. These braking assemblies are manufactured using heavy-gauge galvanized steel with a wired terminal block and provisions for an optional thermostat. TE Type HPBA Braking Resistor Assemblies are built to withstand harsh environments while maintaining a professional design with a wide range of enclosure options. These resistors are available in several combinations of horsepower, input voltage, and duty cycle. Applications include industrial, variable frequency drives, servo motors and drives, warehouse automation, and robotics.
