In this webinar, Clemens Valens (Elektor) and Dan Ujvari (Microchip) will guide you through the informative course. They will cover the most important aspects of the technology, give background information, show several videos from the course and go into more detail about the content in these videos.
Dan Ujvari is a Principal Engineer and Embedded Security Specialist at Microchip Technology. He has held several key engineering roles during his 28-year tenure with the company, including his current role as Global Education Leader for Microchip’s Security Function Group, a tactical group of design engineers based around the world and dedicated to assisting clients realize robustly secure devices and systems. Dan began as a design engineer in the Advanced System Development group at National Cash Register, designing disk and tape drive controllers. He later worked for Signetics Corporation, which is now part of NXP Semiconductors. He holds multiple patents in the areas of FPGAs, electric field theory and cryptography. He is a cryptography lecturer for graduate-level students at several universities, including Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania.
Clemens Valens is the Technical Manager of Elektor Labs. He holds a BSc in Electronics and an MSc in Electronics and Information Technology. Valens started working for Elektor in 2008 as editor in chief of Elektor France, and he has also worked as an editor for Elektor UK/US and ElektorMagazine.com. He currently produces engineering tutorials and product reviews at Elektor.tv.
